Most connection problems come from the Meta window — it was blocked, closed early, or is still waiting on something. Find the message you’re seeing below.

During the connection

Dialtu opens Meta’s signup in a pop-up, and the browser stopped it.Fix: allow pop-ups for this site, then click Connect WhatsApp again. In Chrome the blocked-pop-up icon sits at the right-hand end of the address bar.
The Meta window was closed before the steps were finished.Fix: start again and work through to the end. Nothing is saved from a cancelled attempt, so there’s nothing to clean up first.
Meta hasn’t confirmed yet.Keep the Meta window open. The page updates by itself as soon as the connection comes through — you don’t need to refresh or click anything.
Dialtu stopped hearing from Meta partway through.Fix: if you finished every step in the Meta window, wait about a minute and reload this page before retrying — the connection often lands late. If it’s still missing after that, start again.
A new version shipped mid-session, so the page and the server no longer agree.Fix: reload the page and connect again.
The generic failure. Try once more — if it keeps happening, contact support rather than retrying repeatedly.

Stuck just after connecting

You approved the connection on your phone, but the final authorization never reached Dialtu. This is the most common half-finished state.Fix: the account shows a Finish connection button. Click it — no need to start over.
Coexistence only. Meta is waiting for you to approve the link on the phone.Fix: open WhatsApp Business on the phone holding that number and approve the request. Don’t close the Meta window while you do it.If it times out, start the connection again.
The number reached Dialtu but Meta hasn’t finished registering it. A few minutes is normal.Fix: reload the page after a few minutes. If it hasn’t moved to Connected after an hour, contact support with the number — it usually means registration failed on Meta’s side.

After the number is connected

A permissions problem, not a connection one. Only Admins see WhatsApp by default — none of the Member, Sales or Support roles include it.Fix: ask an administrator to make you an Admin, or to create a custom role that includes the WhatsApp permissions.
The connection is fine — something on the agent is stopping it. Check, in order:
  • The agent is Active, not paused.
  • Its routing covers the current time, or it’s set as the number’s default agent.
  • The customer isn’t excluded by the agent’s audience tag filters.
  • The account still has credits.
If a number has no default agent, messages outside every agent’s scheduled hours are not routed to anyone.
Coexistence needs the WhatsApp Business app to stay installed on the phone and be opened at least once every 14 days. If the phone was wiped, lost, or simply left alone too long, the link can drop.Fix: reconnect. If nobody on your team uses that phone regularly, consider Cloud API instead.
